Although primarily interested in full gold sovereigns from 1817 through till the present day, we occasionally will publish information regarding other denominations such as early colonial Australian gold coins, like the Adelaide pound for example.
Like most numismatists, we continually need more information and the search for reliable data is an endless task. If you have some information that is not displayed on this website, please make contact via the ‘Contact Us’ facility and we would love to include your details, images etc. We enjoy collecting and are keen to share information with our visitors. 
We have been grading coins for over forty years and the thrill of seeing new examples never ceases to enthral us. Through the last four decades there have been many changes in attitudes to grading and we will endeavour to demystify that aspect of our hobby on this website. We are active collectors who will buy any genuine Gold Sovereign and pay a fair price for it, especially if it is one of our gaps. Royal Sovereigns was started in the 1960’s under a different name. With the advent of the Internet we’ve kept pace with changing technology and have now totally embraced a virtual presence and share that with you.
